Posh Mercantile began in 2019 when founder Vanessa Pischer turned her love of fashion into an online boutique. Before long, she transformed her formal dining room into a cozy shopping space where local women could stop by, browse, and connect — and that’s where the magic truly started.
One day, while dropping off an order to a local customer named Lauren Knaus, Vanessa learned that Lauren had just left her job and was looking for something new. Without hesitation, Vanessa said, “I’d love your help!” From that moment on, the two became an unstoppable team. Four years later, in 2025, Lauren officially became a partner, and together they opened their dream — a beautiful brick-and-mortar boutique in Austin, Texas.
